Acting on behalf of our client, Invstment AB Kinnevik, Terravost is pleased to confirm that the sale of Rolnyvik sp Z.o.o. completed on Tuesday 10 November. The 6,700 ha business sold for in excess of €43M and is one of the largest commercial farmland investments to be brought to market in Central Europe in recent years. The acquirer of Rolnyvik is a Polish enterprise within the agricultural sector. Carl Atkin spoke at the Global AgInvesting conference on investment in Central and Eastern European Farmland. The event was held at the Landmark London on 2 and 3 December 2014. Terravost joined forces with Barclays, Fengrain and RTK Farming to hold an arable-focussed event on 12 November 2014 near Cambridge. Over 100 farmers and local agribusinesses attended the event with a wide ranging discussion on crop marketing, precision farming, prospects for the European farming landscape in 2015 and risk management.
